چکیده
Abstract Purpose Streptococcus alactolyticus strain FGM is used to ferment Astragalus membranaceus develop a novel feed additive for animals in China. This study aimed at characterizing the safety and potential probiotic features of vitro. Methods The genome S. was sequenced genomic silico studies. It evaluated morphology, antibiotic susceptibility, hemolytic activity, acid tolerance, bile salt adherence ability Caco-2, inhibitory pathogens activity. Result GC content 40.38% composed 29 contigs. annotation coding genes revealed important characteristics germs, especially 151 annotated biological adhesion. forecasted 43 amino sequences be VF, but did not have gene, neither it show activity phenotypic analysis. Although 30 were predicted aid resisting some antibiotics, just showed resistance trimoxazole oxytetracycline, intermediate kanamycin. cells tolerance pH 2 broth within 4 h, 0.15~0.30% medium with latter being attributed presence bile-salt hydrolase. shown adhere Caco-2 rate 1.0 × 10 9 CFU/mL bacterial suspensions 37.51%. Compared Lactobacillus acidophilus , reuteri casei high capability inhibit diffusion Escherichia coli O78 reduce its adhesion on cells. Conclusion results demonstrated absence adverse effects vitro, thus contributing effective fermentation animals.

The probiotic potential of 3 yeasts strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae isolated from kefirs and feces was investigated and compared with 3 isolates from medicines and 2 collection strains (ATCC) of Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii. Genetic identification of yeasts based on karyotypes indicated their affiliation to Saccharomyces spp. although chromosomal polymorphism was observed. Concer...
